Stephanie Hazleton

Stephanie graduated from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin in 1994 with a BA (Hons) Degree in Art and Textile Design.

Stephanie is a highly skilled artist with an extensive amount of knowledge and experience gained from working as a professional artist and designer for the past two decades. Her expertise includes textile design, painting, print making, sketching and sign writing.

Her creative journey has led her to work on many art and design projects for the hospitality trade in the north and south of Ireland, England, Italy and America as well as her work being exported across the world.

Stephanie is also passionate about teaching art, she is a part-time Art Teacher at her local primary school. Together they have won the Carson Award for Creativity in 2018 and 2019.

Inspiration: “As an artist I find the natural world and its wildlife to be an inspiration. I have spent many years observing and sketching my local wildlife in its natural habitat, which has led me to have a genuine appreciation for it which reflects in my work”.

Sheila Oldcroft

Sheila graduated from the Belfast Metropolitan College with a City & Guilds Diploma in Creative Techniques in Fashion, where her creations remain on permanent exhibition.

She is highly skilled and experienced in machine and hand-sewing techniques. She has achieved more than two decades experience creating quality pieces for interior and fashion design.

Sheila is a qualified Tutor. She has facilitated sewing skills workshops. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of this with others.

She has also worked on various art and design projects in the north and south of Ireland and Italy.

Inspiration: “My inspiration stems from iridescence in nature, natural fibres, heritage fabrics and strong bold statement colours”.
