Profile: Stephanie

Stephanie Hazelton graduated from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin in 1994, with a BA(Hons) Degree in Textile Design. Stpehanie is a highly skilled artist with an extensive amount of knowledge and experience gained working as a professional artist and designer for the past 20 years. Her expertise include textile design, painting, print-making, drawing and sign writing.

Her creative journey has led her to work on many art and design projects for the hospitality trade in Ireland, London, Italy and America as well as her work being exported across the world. She has also worked on private commissions and has experience in teaching Arts and Crafts.

Inspiration: As an artist I find the natural world and it’s wildlife to be an endless source of inspiration. I have spent years observing and enjoying my local wildlife in it’s natural habitat, which has led me to ave a genuine appreciation for it, which reflects in my artwork.”

Profle: Sheila

Sheila Oldcroft graduated from Belfast Metroplitan College with a City & Guilds Diploma in Creative Techniquesin Fashion, where her creations remain on permenant exhibition.

She is highly skilled and experienced in machine and hand sewing techniques. She has achieved 20 years experience creating quality pieces for interior and fashion design. Sheila also teaches sewing skills and is passionate about sharing her knowledge of this with others. She has also worked on various Art and Design projects in Ireland and Italy.

Inspiration: “My inspiration stems from iridescence in nature, natural fibres, heritage fabrics and strong bold statement colours”.
